Filmed at Fabergé's London Boutique, contemporary master jeweller, Fabergé partnered with fashion creative and writer Nik Thakkar to create a short film titled Regeneration now exclusively on Design Scene. Showcasing the much desired Romanov emerald and diamond necklace, as featured on Lana Del Rey in Vanity Fair and Mila Kunis in the Gemfields campaign). The short film, directed by Oz Thakkar, tells the story of knowledge and faith through the meditative embrace of the Fabergé’s legendary coloured gemstones. -

The State Vs. John Hayes
Silent Treatment have collaborated with the talented Lucy Roslyn on another project as she hits the stage once again to share the self scribed role of Elyese Dukie. Elyese Dukie is on Death Row at Huntsville Prison, Texas. In this one hour and ten minutes monologue, she battles with transgender issues, and fleshes out psychological problems, having real epiphanies and realisations about who she is and why she’s there, right before our eyes. Oz Thakkar is collaborating with Hua Gallery on films documenting the work of contemporary Chinese artists. First, a close look at the controversial artist Sheng Qi, who in protest cut off his own finger during the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989. The second video is an analysis of the works of Xu Yong as he explores the history - and destruction - of Beijing Hutongs. Most recently has explored the work of abstract Chinese artist, Le Guo. -

Oz Thakkar at Silent Treatment proudly co-founded Cardiff Union TV. The channel was set up in 2007 and functions to broadcast local news and promote music, as well as fresh comedy acts and future film-makers. The channel has had more than 32,000 views in 2013. He also operated as head of specialist radio for two years at award-winning Cardiff University Radio station Xpress Radio, who closely collaborate the the TV station. -

On hearing he was in the UK to promote the upcoming release of season five of the unutterably fantastic drama Breaking Bad on streaming service Netflix, we at Den of Geek jumped at the opportunity to sit down for a few minutes with none other than Mr Walter White himself, aka Heisenberg, aka actor Bryan Cranston.
In a roundtable conversation with a handful of other journalists, we spoke to Bryan about losing out at the Emmys, the changing landscape of television, getting lucky with Vince Gilligan, and how all Breaking Bad viewers are going to hell…

Oz Thakkar has just wrapped work on a promotional video for TV series NEVER AFTER with Rimsky Productions.
The teaser stars Gillian Anderson as the narrator, re-telling classic fairytales within the historical context they were once written. The brilliant idea is the brain child of American directors Jessica Fox and Sara Wolkowitz.
Thomas English shot the film, with Ollie Tiong and Dave Tincombe doing a mind-blowing job on the set.
